About Holland Lops

We raise Purebred Holland Lop rabbits.

Holland Lops are known for their docile and curious nature.

They are friendly, affectionate, and excellent for first time rabbit owners.

Holland Lops can appear shy at first, but they still crave affection from their owners.

They can also be very active and love to play with toys.

Holland Lops originated in the Netherlands in the late 1940’s.

Their creator Adrian de Cock bred a French Lop to a Netherland Dwarf, and after a few years the Holland Lop as we know it was born.

Holland Lops fall in the category of a dwarf breed, the smallest breed of rabbits.

They weigh between two to four pounds, does (girls) usually being larger than bucks (guys).

Their adorable floppy ears and square head will bring smiles for miles.

Due to their funny faces and stocky frame, they have earned the title as the Bull dog of the rabbit world.

Holland Lops can come in a wide variety of colors, from solids, like black, blue, lilac and chocolate to Harlequins and tri-colors, to broken colors, frosties, and white with red or blue eyes.

Their sweet nature and diverse colors make them one of the most popular rabbit breeds in the United States.
